CANCELLED (see side bar message) Following your brilliant exhibition of marksmanship 61st Rendezvous PROGRAM WELCOME TO "SHOOT TIME AT MANISTEE" FOR 2020. Our rendezvous is a low-pressure fun shoot. We want you to enjoy yourself while you are a guest to our camp. In several matches, contestants will be able to use Civil War rifled muskets and mini bullets. These matches are marked with an asterisk (*), original style Civil War mini bullets only, no modern mini, maxi, saboted bullets or buffalo bullets allowed. This reflects the historical fact that all types of guns were used in open competition. No modern, inline action muzzle loading guns will be allowed in any of our matches. An added pre-rendezvous event for Friday, June 26, 2020: We will hold a Military Rifle Match, open to any kind of military rifle capable of firing 10 shots in 70 seconds, including a reload. The cost is $10.00, and you need to bring 50 rounds of ammunition. Registration is 8:30 a.m. on the range. Awards will be given immediately following the match. The "Old Marsh Road Sneek" Woods Walk: This match was redesigned to accommodate those who have trouble walking long distances through the woods. Participants may leave the woods walk for a line match at any time and return to the woods walk to finish. Organized shooting has always been a very safe recreational activity. To help keep it that way, EYE AND EAR PROTECTION ARE MANDATORY for all shooters. For those who have never ventured to Old Fort Rendezvous afore, the cost is $40.00 for the whole family (children under 19 years of age) for all muzzle loading events. There is no separate traders or campers fee - it is included in the initial $40.00 family fee. All shooters will be issued a competitor number and camp permit. Please post the permit by your camp and have the competitor number in your possession at each match. The Friday, June 26th Military Rifle Match is separate from other events, and a $10.00 registration fee is charged for this event. (See separate program for this event, registration and new rules at bottom of this page.) VILLAGE GREEN EVENTS for Saturday, June 27, 2020
