June 26-27, 2021

Dear Fellow Muzzleloader,

The Manistee Clan Muzzle Loading Club invites you and your family to attend the best muzzle loading shoot in the country, the 61st Annual "SHOOT TIME AT MANISTEE" Rendezvous, an event to remember and a tradition to keep. Mark your calendar for this year's event which will be held June 26th and 27th, 2021, at OLD FORT RENDEZVOUS on Camp Road, just south of Manistee. There will be a Military Rifle Match held for the early campers on Friday, June 25th. This match is separate and in conjunction with Shoot Time, with a $10 entry fee and shooting awards immediately following the match. Bring any type of military gun in "as-issued" or "modified" condition, along with 50 rounds of ammunition.

We strive to treat each guest shooter and camper to a weekend of relaxed, low pressure shooting and camping enjoyment.  We bring you a shoot with clay breakable targets which are visible with each hit and provide campfire wood for you to cook your meals.

Remember to bring all of your guns. We have matches for muzzle loading rifle, pistol, rifled musket and smoothbore, black powder single shot rifles and modern military guns. Pack 'em all and have a ball at the 61st Shoot Time at Manistee Rendezvous.

Our shoot is set up with this idea in mind; no matter how hard you try, you are not going to participate in all the shooting events. This gives everyone an even chance to win an event and relieve the pressure on the main range by having a woods walk.  Slack time can be taken up at the tomahawk range or visiting the traders who come to sell their goods.  We have a playground for the children.

On Saturday evening after the last shot has been fired and dusk sets in, there is an award ceremony followed by an annual ceremonial meeting of the Northwest Council around the campfire.  Bring your musical instruments; as darkness sets in, the camp comes alive with music and dancing under the roof of the pavilion till the wee hours.

Sunday we have a program to give you a half-day of shooting fun and plenty of time left to break camp and head back to your home.

For your personal convenience, we have showers and flush toilets in the pavilion and a food wagon on site during the day.

Where in the world can you have two days of shooting and camping enjoyment for only $40.00?  Pack your bags and come to the 61st SHOOT TIME AT MANISTEE Rendezvous, and enjoy a memorable weekend of shooting and camping.  DON'T MISS IT!!

For more information, please contact Don Miller at 231-723-6768 or Jack Lee at 231-398-0687.
For our non-camping shooters, we have several motels within four miles of our camp.

Best regards,

Don Miller & Jack Lee
